Losing momentum

This weeks list was not all that great. I found a couple of deals but for the most part not my best week. I lost momentum this week too so hopefully I will be able to get my great totals back soon. Stay tuned for the next couple of weeks totals.

Not too bad. I have been going light on the shopping this week because until we get paid it is kinda tight. Next week I will be able to go all out though. Not too shabby with all the name brand cereal I got.

Welcome

Last night I decided to make another blog so that I can record my savings by using the Grocery Game. I don't want to turn my regular blog into just totals and sales so here is the spot for it. Yesterday was my first trip out for the grocery game and I did very well. For $14 I came home with:

*3 bags of goldfish crackers
*2 boxes Quaker Oatmeal
*2 packages Tyson chicken breasts
*2 bottles Softsoap antibacterial (FREE)
*Lysol toilet bowl cleaner
*Lysol all purpose cleaner
*2 cans Campbell's Chunky soup
ETA: I forgot to add that I also got a box of Lean Pockets.

I saved 60% on my bill!! I am really looking forward to getting the hang of all this.
