Target deals 7-24-08

Yesterday I did great at Target. I got:

3 bottles of Suave kids shampoo
2 boxes Electrasol dishwashing tabs

Paid: about $4 after tax!!! I rocked that store. Normally the Electrasol are $3 or more a box. Gotta love great Target deals!

Still here

I know it has been a while. I took a small break since none of the lists were very good lately. I also got way behind on clipping all of my q's. So last night I did a run to Kroger where I got 5 Lawry's bottle marinades for FREE. I also decided to chunk all of my q's and start over from scratch. I needed a new start. This time I am filing different so hopefully I will not get behind. SO....I WILL be back soon.

a lot. This is my CVS haul for today. After you take all the ECB's into account I basically paid $2 for all of this!!

The body washes alone are worth $3.49 EACH. I think I did pretty good today. The poor cashier rang up 8 transactions for me so I could keep rolling my ECB's. I don't think she likes me very much. LOL.

Target Deal

Today I set out to Target to use the $5 off coupons I had. I did great!

I'm still here. The last few weeks haven't been all that impressive for the GG so I have skipped posting the few deals I got. This week definitely picked back up.

That is what my cashier actually said when she saw my total for Kroger today. LOL.

On the first transaction the cashier deleted something and I didn't catch it until later. I would have paid about $2.00 if it had been rang up right. I think she acccidentally deleted more of the tp than she was supposed to. She accidentally rang an extra one up and then she must have deleted it a few times. Not sure what happened but it worked out for me.

4-19-08

This week was pretty slow for Kroger.
I got 5 KC Masterpiece BBQ sauces for $2.50.

Then I stocked up on Kroger Brand medicine since they are having most of it BOGO this week.
I got:

2 Childrens Benadryl
2 Childrens Ibuprofen
2 Childrens Tylenol
2 bottles Pepto Bismol

I only paid for 4 of them. Pretty good and at least now I know we will have it when we need it. I plan on going back for other medicines later this week.

MAJOR CVS SCORE!!

I have been after the free Softsoap Spa body wash at CVS all month but they have been sold out. Turns out the manager said we could get the regular Softsoap bodywash since they were out and they would just credit it to my other order. So last night I walked out of CVS with all of this for:

$3.00 out of pocket!!!

Kroger 4-13-08

I got all of this PLUS a pack of kids band-aids that I forgot to put in the picture for right under $17. Not too shabby considering that the 8 bottles of Herbal Essences Shampoos are normally $3.69 EACH.

I rocked it this week. I also have another coupon for 1 more BRUT deodorant for free that I forgot to take with me today. I will be going back in a day or so to get that.

I bought 16 bags of goldfish and I plan on buying some more this week.

Our stockpile is FINALLY starting to get bigger. Even hubby is getting impressed. Most of the bags of cookies and muffins,etc. were free this week or near free.

I have been to Kroger 3 more times since my last post. I have stocked up on so much this week with their sales. Yesterday I just got some stuff that was marked down.

Kroger has some fantastic deals going on right now. When I checked the flyer this morning I already knew I had a ton of coupons to go with the sales so I did my first trip this morning. I will definitely be going back this week for a LOT more.

Welcome

Last night I decided to make another blog so that I can record my savings by using the Grocery Game. I don't want to turn my regular blog into just totals and sales so here is the spot for it. Yesterday was my first trip out for the grocery game and I did very well. For $14 I came home with:

I saved 60% on my bill!! I am really looking forward to getting the hang of all this.
